Empathy: The Power of Deep Listening

Introduction to Nonviolent Communication (Online)

Join us for this live 2-hour online class on Saturday, July 25, 2020 (11 am - 1 pm ET), to discover how empathic communication can make your relationships more meaningful at home, at work, and in your community.

Deep Listening is an inborn skill that all of us possess, however it lies dormant and under-utilized in many of us because we don't have the road map to access it.

Join us to learn and practice the life-changing impact of giving and receiving empathy -- one of the most potent skills that can radically alter the course of your relationships and turn alienation into connection and trust.

In this class you will learn:

  • The practical value of empathy for yourself and other people.

  • The practice of gratitude in increasing well-being for yourself and other people.

  • How to use empathy in your day-to-day life to support more effective communication.

This introductory class will be led by Lisa Gottlieb, MSW, SSW from Ann Arbor, MI (pictured below), a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. To include as many people as possible in these trying times, you choose the amount that you pay.

Continuing Your Learning:

If you enjoy this introductory class and you would like to learn how to disagree with others in a way that builds respect and that they are more likely to hear, join Lisa for a 4-week online course starting August 1, 2020, "How to Disagree with Dignity and Grace: Using your Voice in Ways Other People Can Hear."

In this course, you will learn practical tools that you can begin to use right away to improve your communication skills and connect more easily with other people, even if you disagree with them.
