Speaking and Listening from the Heart

Introduction to Nonviolent Communication (Online)

Join us for this live 2-hour online workshop on Saturday morning, April 11, 2020, to learn how to build more trust, goodwill, and harmony in all of your relationships... with family members, coworkers, friends, and those in your community. (Register here)

In this video-based class -- which requires only a

computer, tablet, or smartphone connected to the

internet -- you will learn an overview of Nonviolent

Communication (NVC) in an interactive and fun way.

In particular, we will cover the following elements:

  • Deep Listening: Understanding others with empathy.

  • Authentic Self-Expression: Speaking honestly in a
way that leads to creative problem-solving.

  • Creating Inner Peace: Translating judgments and
blame of yourself and moving into self-acceptance.

  • Gratitude: Giving and receiving appreciation.

If you enjoy this introductory class and you are a parent, grandparent, or caregiver, join Lisa for a 4-week class starting the following Saturday, "Compassionate Parenting: Creating Trust, Safety, and Emotional Security for Parents and Children."
